A lot of you may already know that I am a big fan of Neil Gaiman’s Coraline, as well as Henry Selick’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, so when I’d heard Henry Selick would be adapting Coraline for the big screen I was overjoyed. I’ve been following along on its development when I can, and today a bunch of Coraline goodies have come out.
First off is the trailer. I was concerend that it was not going to be as dark as the novel after seeing the first 40 seconds or so, but my fears were quickly alleviated as the trailer chugs along. Check it out:
Also, beyond the wonderful trailer, Coraline.com has been pretty quiet as of late. Now, thanks to Drawn!, a bunch of passwords have been released allowing us to view all sorts of goodies including a vignette on the various characters in the film.
Passwords to enter on the Coraline.com site include:

Coraline is scehduled for a release of February 6, 2009.
